Which edition do I need?
There are four editions. Free, Solo (Offline) and Cloud include every module; Starter covers student records and fees. They also differ in where the software runs and how many people use it.
- Free. Installed on your own computer, with every module, for schools with up to 50 students. Also the way to pilot the software in one class.
- Starter. Student records and fees, installed on one computer, without network (LAN) access; staff can have separate logins on that computer. No limit on the number of students.
- Solo (Offline). Every module, installed on your own computer or server, for several staff working at the same time. No limit on the number of students.
- Cloud. Hosted by us and used from anywhere, with every module. No limit on the number of students.

What is the price of the software?
- Free edition: no charge for schools with up to 50 students.
- Starter edition (student records and fees): ₹10,000 + 18% GST (₹1,800) = ₹11,800, a one-time licence.
- Solo (Offline) edition (every module): ₹24,500 + 18% GST (₹4,410) = ₹28,910, a one-time licence.
- Cloud edition: ₹65,000 + 18% GST (₹11,700) = ₹76,700.
- Annual maintenance (AMC): ₹20,000 + 18% GST (₹3,600) = ₹23,600 a year. Cloud includes the first year; Solo (Offline) can take it as an option.
- Support: one month free on Starter and Solo (Offline). After that, without AMC, support is ₹2,500 + 18% GST (₹450) = ₹2,950 per support call, and one call can cover 2–3 issues, training or configuration. Email support, videos and documentation are free.
Starter, Solo (Offline) and Cloud have no limit on the number of students, and the parent app is free on Solo (Offline) and Cloud. Prices are in INR and shown without GST; GST at 18% is added and shown separately on the invoice. SMS, WhatsApp and chat usage is charged separately, and some Cloud additions such as transport and library management are priced on their own. What are the AMC charges after the first year?
Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC) cover support services and updates: ₹20,000 + 18% GST (₹3,600) = ₹23,600 a year. The Cloud edition includes the first year, and AMC applies from the second year. On the Solo (Offline) edition, AMC is optional and gives one year of support. The Starter edition has no AMC. Starter and Solo (Offline) include one month of free support; after that, without AMC, support is charged per call at ₹2,500 + 18% GST (₹450) = ₹2,950, and one call can cover 2–3 issues, training or configuration. Can we move our licence to another school or computer?
Licences are not transferable. The Starter and Solo (Offline) licences are tied to your school’s database, so back up the database regularly and keep a copy on a separate disk for future use. A new licence request for Starter or Solo (Offline) is charged as a new purchase.
Cloud is a managed service: it is licensed for use, and there is no offline installation.
Is the free edition free forever?
Yes. The Free edition on your own computer is free for as long as your school has up to 50 students, with every module.
Can parents get a message after they pay fees?
Yes. This is built into the fee payment screen. Once a parent pays, SchoolAdminCE can send an SMS, an email, or both as confirmation.

Which types of institutions can use SchoolAdminCE?
SchoolAdminCE supports a wide range of educational institutions:

If you run a school, a college and a training centre together, you can manage each one independently and also all of them together.
We are a group of schools. Can we manage all of them together?
Yes. Ask us for a multi-school management account on the Cloud edition. Each school gets its own login and works independently, and the group manages all of them together from one place. Get in touch with our sales team and we will guide you.
How do I install and access SchoolAdminCE?
- Free, Starter and Solo (Offline) editions. Download the installer, install it on a PC or server in your school and open it in a browser (Firefox, Chrome or Safari). Remote access is possible with tools like UltraViewer, AnyDesk or Radmin VPN.
- Cloud edition. Register on the sign-up page. Once it is verified, your account is created within hours and you sign in from any browser.
- On mobile. The software works on mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop, and parents use the parents module on Android, iPhone and the web.

Do we have to pay extra for software updates?
We update the software regularly with defect fixes, minor enhancements and education board requirements. Fixes and enhancements to the modules you already have are free of cost, and you are notified when they are released.
With AMC (the first year is included on Cloud), the MarvelSoft team manages the updates for you. Without AMC, check the release notes before you install a new release, to confirm it is compatible with your installation.

A significantly new feature may carry a nominal cost for existing customers. If you suggest a feature that is useful for any school and we add it to our roadmap, it is free for you when it is released.
Can SchoolAdminCE be integrated into our school website?
Yes, on the Cloud edition. You need a domain or subdomain for your school, or we can create one for you. Send us an email request and it is done in about 48 hours. Contact our support team to start.
How secure is our data?
- Cloud edition. It runs on HTTPS, so all communication is encrypted. Data is stored on a secured AWS cloud server, and nobody can reach it without authorisation: access needs passwords and private keys. Two-factor authentication for your logins can be enabled on request. For student, parent and staff data, the school is the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — it decides why and how the data is used and takes consent. MarvelSoft Ventures acts as the school’s Data Processor: we process that data only on the school’s written instructions, under a Data Processing Agreement.
- Free, Starter and Solo (Offline) editions. Your data stays on your own computer and does not depend on the internet or on outside cloud services. Backup and restore tools are built in, and the database recovers on its own after a power cut. Your licence is tied to the database, so back it up regularly and keep a copy on a separate disk.
What is eKTextAI, and how does it work with SchoolAdminCE?
eKTextAI is MarvelSoft’s parent-communication and admissions engine for schools. It sends notices, fee reminders and admissions campaigns on WhatsApp and email, and answers parents, students and staff from your school’s own circulars, policies and notices, on WhatsApp and on the web.
It is already connected with SchoolAdminCE, so you do not have to change your school software to use it, and answers can reflect live data from it. It is a separate product with its own plans. How is SchoolAdminCE different from other school management software?
- Offline with a lifetime licence. Install, uninstall, back up and restore on any PC. You pay a one-time licence fee that is valid for life, which suits schools with limited internet. The licence is tied to your database and is not transferable.
- Cloud with multi-school and multi-campus support. Manage several branches or campuses together, including franchise chains.
- The same modules either way. The features are common to the Solo (Offline) and Cloud editions, so you choose by how you want to run it, not by what it can do.
- A parent app for offline schools too. The parent app works even when the school runs the offline installation. It is available on Android, iPhone, tablet and web.
